Same goes for effects on the layer, since these also apply after the shape stuff. If you however scale it using any of the transform options it will also scale the stroke because these apply after. If you just drew the shape using the pen tool all you will see is the shape path.Įither way, if you animate the shape size or path it will not affect the below stroke layers because that applies after the shape.
Now if you've made a standard shape it will have some special options like size, corner roundness (if it's a square) and so on. These are order dependent meaning that the stroke will apply after the shape itself and before the shape transform options (and these transform options will apply before the transform options of the entire layer)
